BHS QB is a BHS student since freshman year. Played rec league for Bearden teams. He also has a brother on the team. His Dad is BHS basketball coach.

Same kid from last year was the starter week 1, if it wasn’t the basketball coach’s son, he’s be benched.

Probably won’t make a huge difference in the end on this one but I expect our offensive front to improve dramatically throughout the season with former Powell standout Lee Smith coaching them.

Are you sure he is full time coaching them on the field at BHS. I heard him live on the radio right during football practice time period and others have seen him at other schools drumming  up business for his training facility during  practice practice time period which l assume is right after school. Or maybe he is having practice at his training facility.

You're correct, BT. Lee is working with a few different programs, Bearden being one of them. I heard him talking about it on the Sports Animal a few weeks ago. I'm sure it's all part of promoting Triple F.

His son starts and plays for Bearden Im sure he is helping, but he is all over the place when it comes to Triple F. He probably comes to practice during Offensive/Indy period and coaches and helps out.

Someone should ask Lee about his time at UT and getting his tail whipped on the strip. Triple F is a good name for his establishment, as it reflects the grade it would get in school.
