Science Hilltoppers 0-1 Visit The 0-1 AC Mavs

Well the Hilltoppers struggled to get 7 against Betsy & allowed 27. They May not be healthy or Betsy may be that good. Will SH shows more offence this Friday? Can SH get the 1st win at the Greatest Show on Turf?

The Mavs appeared to be moving in for an early victory agast Powell in 1st half then just about everything that could go wrong happened. Mavs shot the right foot off 1st half and then the Left foot off the second half. They did have a wing and a prayer late in 3rd and 4th quarter but Powell cliped the wing off after that it just wasn't meant to be. Mavs have some good talent and I expect the Mavs will calm down and execute much better. This will be tough game up front for the Mavs and the OL and DL will need to step up.

The Mavs should win big.   SH is really down.   Pretty good line.::: but below average RB..   QB is shifty… but weak arm and bad decisions….  Number 1 is legit.   But they go to him every play:::.    GHS had them 21-7 in 3 series before starters came out…

We will have to see. I have learned some teams can play certain teams better than others. But I certainly hope we get our first win.

I would definitely take that. I think each week is still a growing process. Looks like the schedule gives a little bit of many schemes.

I watched the AC game highlights. I think AC’s running game will give SH fits and keep their offense off the field. And if SH doesn’t figure out how to pass the ball, AC will play downhill on the run game. I say AC takes this one 28-7. AC will make fewer mistakes and commit fewer penalties. Problems that seem to plague SH every season.

When is the last time the states 5th largest high school (2380) lost 2 in a row to much smaller schools?

SH play calling Friday night was awful and left me scratching my head a lot.Mav AC wins this game.

I think the Mavs bounce back in grand style against the Hilltoppers. AC 28 SH 14.

I hope so. While the Mavs beat themselves with the help of a good Powell team last Friday maybe they might get something rolling. For the Mavs it's a learning curve. One consolation they I do believe, have talent its all got to come together and sync up at some point.
