CLINTON @ POWELL (Thursday Rivalry)

Clinton travels to Powell for a Thursday Rivalry game. Both teams come in 2-2.  I think Powell's defensive line will give Clinton fits. Hopefully, we can slow Wheeler down enough to pull off the win.

Thoughts? Predictions?

Powell’s strength this year is running the football behind a big physical offensive line, they can move the chains and keep your offense off the field. On defense, with Soles they can bring a lot of pressure on your quarterback. This will be a big hurdle to keep the Year of the Dragon going.

 Was going to say this, too. PHS has the best run blocking line around. CHS has picked it up last 2 weeks, I think PHS wins at home though

#8 for Clinton is gonna give Wheeler fits. I predict Powell having to figure out how to get Wheeler outside and on the edge to see if they can get CHS to move him back outside before running back inside again. The kid for Clinton makes a 5 man box feel like an 8 man box and allows Clinton’s D to basically run 3 over 2 to both sides on the edges. 
 

Clinton makes Lowe have to pass to win and wins this one in a physical game

A Lowe trademark is putting in a ton of screens in against an aggressive defense to try and slow down the pressure. I also see Lowe slipping Wheeler out behind the D line and getting him in space

Powell wins this one comfortably wheels fall back off the wagon this week

Will be tuned in to Packervision Thursday to see if the Year of the Dragon rolls on. But I am afraid Powell wins up front and that may be the ball game.

Yeah, we have a freshman kicking pat's. He was 5/7 against Campbell County Friday night.  He looks more like a lineman. Haha

Yeah I watched some of that game on Dragon Vision. 5/7 isn’t bad at all for a freshman.  Good luck Thursday, rooting for y’all.
