DB vs Asheville (NC) ?

I hear a lot about Mount Airy.  On one of my trips down to Duke this season, I am going to try to go down a day early and catch Mount Airy on a Friday night.  Hear they have at least 8 D1 prospects.

Mount Airy is good this year. Won states last year in 1a. 2 kids committed to Virginia Tech. Them and Tarboro will meet in the 1a state championship game. Asheville had a former player make the Panthers practice squad as a undrafted free agent. Eku Leota started out at Northwestern but transferred to Auburn when he was in college.

Mtn airy is strong for 1a school, they are probably 25  schools in NC better then them.

Question for Waco, I heard DB is making a change at qb this week.  Is this correct?

Heard from a friend last night who lives in Asheville.   He has never seen DB live but he thinks DB wins something like 31-14.     Now keep in mind this is purely based on him watching a little video of DB but since there are no common opponents it's just a guess

I see what you did there.  If true, is the kid not playing well?  The other guy just better?  Or is this a result of the politics within the good ole boy network.  I have a good friend DB fan that believes it may be the latter.

Read on another message board Asheville has 4 starters out, their d 1 linebacker just transferr. Db should win this game.

Been on NC Preps. I think the LB transferred to Asheville Reynolds. Think it’s the kid committed to Rutgers Noah Shaw.

Based on everything being reported I'm going to agree with my Asheville friend:

DB             31
Asheville   13

Not that it matters, but Asheville is 1100+ students, half the size of DB

There backup quarterback is a Betsy transfer.
