What's going on in Sweetwater with the coach suspension.

Who knows, why would GQ leave Maryville to be an assistant coach at Furman making very close to what he did at the high school level but working three times the hours if you count recruiting trips being away from home. Now he's making twice the money being head coach but still working three times the hours in high school with an angry fan base on his heels.

As I mentioned they blow it up bigger than things may be but if the suspension turns out over disputes with parents or fans you'll never hear anymore about it because they want to make you think the worst. FYI last week the game against McMinn Central should have been a close one either way not a 44-10 beatdown. I even went with Sweetwater on that pick and wanted to know what could of happened for a team to fall like that and will it continue. I would love to hit many as possible but knowing things are going on at the clubhouse level can possibly determine who may win.

It's as simple as this.....Gabe Masingale played a full game instead of 4 or 5 snaps.

The stats tell the tale of what happened. 3 interceptions and 2 fumbles with one lost. That there is 28 points if they scored off of the turnovers. Hard to recover from that.

If True, I don't blame Slover one bit!  You hired him to lead your program so let him lead your program.  The admin needs to keep their mouth shut when it comes to who should start and who shouldn't

My statement was meant to tell why the score was lopsided, not getting into the coach son thing. I'm staying away from that.

Last I heard the QB did not give up passes of 77, 82 and 95 in the first quarter....420 yards passing in the first half......Almost 600 yards in total offense in 3 quarters....Bet they not replacing the D Coordinator who made zero adjustments...Bad precedent getting started in Sweetwater....dictating to coaches who to play. Sad for a traditionally proud program.
