Everyone in Knoxville better be glad Coach Rosser left. Because if he hadn’t, we’d still be competing to go to State every year and maybe have another ring since then. He was on the verge of something very special, and no other coach around here including the “Recruiters” could do anything ab it. I miss him dearly, but I understand why he had to go.

I hate playing the "what if" game. Rosser was special, and I don't doubt that they'd still be a force, but you're also assuming that something else wouldn't have drawn him away from Central. It's impossible to know if he would still be the coach in 2023.

That being said, look at the average tenure for HS football coaches in places like Knox County, especially for younger coaches. With the exception of the lone long tenured coach in KCS (i.e., Eddie Courtney), they just don't stick around like they once did. Same thing is true for teachers, even the really good ones. The headache to dollar ratio is a huge part of that. Why wouldn't a young, successful coach try to parlay that into a better and/or more lucrative opportunity? Rosser would have done that at some point because almost anyone in that scenario would.

Recruiters.

Interesting finger to point.

Some still won't accept reality.

Let’s just say I know more ab the situation than most Nut. You’re not wrong, he definitely could have left at a different point in time. But just knowing him like I do and how much he actually loved the community and being there, I feel strongly he’d still be here. But again your not wrong.

    • Yeah. AC brass walked in to the building at Clinton and suggested that the principal start changing grades.  Honesty, the notion that anybody at AC was involved is just idiocy.  The ones who are hurt most are the kids who weren't involved in the cheating, but still are being penalized by college admission decisions and scholarship consideration simply because they went to a school that was involved in such a scandal.
    • I heard it was ugly.  Coach Harig and the Redskins demolished what is left of the Dragon Wagon.  At this point, it is not certain that Clinton will even be able to field a football team for 2024.  No way the coach keeps his job, transfers gone, nothing left.  Back to the stone ages for the Dragoons.
    • Not even close, changing over 1000 grades?  Head coach changing grades to keep players on the field?  Not the same.  They will give Lieutenant Flip Flops the "Opportunity to resign"  right after graduation if not before.     Negative, the juvenile court judge blew the whistle.  Clinton admin, teachers and coaches started this fire.  Been going on for 4 years now according to Jones, one of the teachers that was fired.  This is truly pathetic.   The Dragon Wagon is #### up in the ditch down on highway 61 down there near The Spur.  Reap what you sew.
    • What ever happened to the #93 rb that came in and did well last year when yalls RBs we’re going down?
    • Going to be a rough season for coach Egghead and the hawks. Everyone picking the under
