Why does Moore County have there NFhS games blocked out till after November 30th?

You can see the Collinwood game today After that it will be blocked on Monday.

and to answer the question why? Well, why not? NFHS is great for family/fans but isn’t mandated by TSSAA nor is a team having any broadcast so why create a disadvantage ?

What disadvantages? you are who you are. Coaches will trade game film and not look that far ahead. But casual fans like me just like to watch good football if coaches are afraid that someone might get an advantage after 10 weeks of playing then they are just ignorant.

They look ahead more than you know!

You are showing your lack of knowledge in the new world of scouting opponents. Most coaches only share 1-2 game films. Therefore if a coach has access to every game, it creates a disadvantage.

Your showing that you drink to much of the whiskey down there. If you think blocking a game where no one can watch it is going to make a difference in a ball game then your lack of knowledge is showing. I bet you a bottle of Jim Beam that Moore County doesn't make it past Mckenzie.

I never said anything about MC and their playoff hopes, but I bet you the week of the McKenzie game their Defensive Coordinator does not get a wink of sleep because of Dawson White.

I may take you up on that.  I always preferred JB over JD.

Maybe not but should still win the Region the next special group is in middle school but that’s the way it goes when your boosters can’t afford rent nor do they have the amount of government housing SP has!

    • So you are looking at one tough stretch for an 18 year old?  Seems you are grasping at straws if you think there is much difference between the two.  By the way Taylor was the best running back in the history of McKenzie and he is in the top 10 in 4 career statistical categories in the state.  If you can tell me Mckenzie had a back like that the last two years that took pressure off Surber I might could agree.  We can agree to disagree
    • 2022 McKenzie team had the most talent they’ve ever had at McKenzie.
    • I overlooked Gibson County. They would be team No. 11 for me. I'm going to edit my list, just behind Livingston Academy (which had four state titles, six runner-up seasons and 20 state appearances).
    • A little history on Gibson County. 11 Final Fours. 10 seasons AP ranked number 1 at end of regular season, 3 years undefeated at end of regular season, 1 year undefeated winning Gold Ball, 4 Gold Balls and 1 Runner Up with 3 Gold Balls coming when there was only 3 classifications, 1 Silver Ball when there was only 3 classifications, 1 Gold Ball when there was 4 classifications. 2020 was Covid year and was still playing in Final Four when cancelled. Been to state 18 times. Pretty good resume. 3 or 4 times when they weren't consolidated. Yorkville, Rutherford and Dyer have some history. Yorkville was Runner Up one year.
