At the beginning of the year, I could see Crockett County winning this game. Now, I do believe Haywood has settled down from their offseason distractions and will start to play Haywood football again. Haywood can score, but their defense isn't the Haywood defense like they were in the past. That does give Crockett County some hope. I may lean Haywood 42-20. For Crockett, losing to Huntingdon was the sign tale for me. 

Crockett County is kind of who I thought they were. Good team, but not good enough

At the beginning of the season I had Crockett as the Region champion but they have not been right since the loss to Huntingdon. I'm going with Haywood in this one.

Haywood wins this one in my opinion. watching the game between Crockett and pure last night i don't think cc defense will be able to stop the Haywood's offense consistently to keep them in the game.

The Haywood - Dyer County game will decide the region and could go either way

Hard to say, I see the home team whoever it is winning that one

but whoever wins that region gonna mercy rule Ridgeway in Round 1

I could see all of region 8 losing other than Melrose in round 1. Also the Haywood v Dyer Co game is at Haywood.

haywood in a close one

the only region 7 team i have losing in the first round is crockett county

ridgeway is the only region 8 team with no chance in the first round

dont discount millington or melrose

obion county could be the sleeper of that quadrant

I see three way tie between DC CC OC then it will come down to overall record which will put DC at 4 seed traveling to Melrose

First, Haywood is tough to beat at home

Second, I pull for Haywood because they are my neighbors

Third, Massey has Haywood winning 42-21

 

For those three reasons, I’m picking Haywood.
