Martin Middle School could probably pull this off. So, Westview by as much as they want. And I figure they will want a lot as they prime for Covington next week. Is McNairy looking to make a change in the off season?

Westview wins this one 48-6 running clock midway through the second Q.

IMO Its about time, I do not know Wes Johnson but they are not winning, they look awful in their games, from what I have heard the kids have all but given up on him. They beat two teams who combined have an 0-16 record and I don't see either winning a game this year. McNairy MIGHT beat Scotts Hill, but even that is a stretch.

Again I do not know Wes and he might be a great coach in a bad situation. Coaches are not ALWAYS to blame, but I understand as do these coaches that if teams are not winning it goes back on them. Maybe someone with more ties to McNairy has more incite, but that's just what I have heard from Jackson.

Westview will be too much for McNairy quick. Region 7 3A has a clear divide based on scores of quality teams in the region. I will say though I am not so sure that Dyersburg will see Westview again this season. Not out of the question, but not a given either. I wouldn't be surprised if it is Covington or even Ripley that Dyersburg faces for a second time in the playoffs. This will be a fun bracket out of the playoffs to watch.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
