Disappointing end to a struggle of a season to say the least. Maryville was outmatched tonight. But this coaching staff needs to make some big time adjustments this off-season if they want to get back to competing for championships. I never thought I would see Maryville struggle offensively like they have the past two seasons. Something has to change. The lack of a real threat of a passing attack has killed them the past two years. A lot of things have attributed to this, but the main problem I see is the schemes they’re running now. They make it way too easy on defenses. Never thought I would see that out of Maryville, but here we are.

Congrats to the bears. They have a very good team with a great player. Their coaches do a good job, and the atmosphere was super tonight. Other than the score, it was a great night of football. Good luck to BC the rest of the way! The best team won.

I thought Murvil played hard and was in the game until late in the third. The two dropped INTs could have saved 10 points, but would not have mattered as we got shutout in the second half. Murvil must find an answer to man coverage with 9 in the box. It hurt us offensively in every loss. I hope the sun comes up tomorrow.

Congrats to Bradley Central , and good luck the rest of the way . Maryville needs to take a close look at everything this offseason and look at ways to improve . Coaching and Players ... there was a time that Maryville Coaches would pooch kick whenever an Elite athlete was waiting on the ball ... that decision tonight was devastating , but to be honest it was just another bad decision by our Coaching staff . I truly hope we have seen the last of the 3 man defensive line forever . 

 As a Lifelong Maryville fan I can say I'm already excited about next year due to a lot of young talent we've seen this year ... Hopefully our Coaches , Players and Fans can recommit to doing whatever it takes to getting back to being in the discussion about Championships once again .

      Basically what you're saying is schools can basically bully students around and get away with it because they are protected. I agree to a certain extent but when schools decisions to keep knuckleheads on staff starts costing kids careers and a college education there is a problem. Our school system last week had a teacher supposedly push a kid and the parents went to the law and the teacher is suspended. So I wouldn't say that they can just do what they want without liability. This case don't pass the smell test because the coach had already been fired before and she got fired after a year on the job. Sounds like the student was right in this case on the outside looking in because the coach gets fired after one year. How many coaches get fired after one year?? Not many.

      Problem with DB football goes beyond coaching. Like Waco said. Thr band is the main focus of their community and school. They have the resources to be a championship level team. Guarantee Ballard or Witten could have them nationally relevant at some point but everyone down to peewee would have to buy in and at DB we all know that would never happen.

      I know the RB from OR he’s fast and has good hands. Is good on special teams also. Didn’t want to play defense over to the Ridge.
