Dresden is a good choice. Right now, I actually think they've got the best shot at winning it all. They will be more battle tested.

Flip side of that is that you guys will be more rested and less likely to have guys banged up. Either could help or hurt. Depends on which way you look at it

SP has only been clobbered in a State title game once in 13 appearances and that was by Brentwood Academy in 1974, 38 - 7.

I know classifications well in several states. I played for Celina and have attended almost every game the Dawgs have played since. South Pitt could be ranked 1 in 2a also.  And ranked high in almost every class this year. I over exaggerated a little. Know. Got lots of response anyways. Thanks.

concurin with Dog13 that bettin on the 1A skilletheads of SP in a 2A gold ball contest at Finley would not be a high risk bet at all....very well could move up that weekend an collect gold ball also

....after that the collectin of Gold Balls in 3A and above comes to very ugly harsh abrupt halt....they may could take one of the 6 to 10 ranked 3A's on a good night...may even succeed a couple post season fridays in R4 3A.... ..but Finley becomes unrealistic just cause they could never get out of east round 3rd rd

....they do appear to an uncontested path in front of them...and will have to redo some signs on the highway over south kimbull after Finly
