I just ordered them and didn't say anything.  I've never seen an official check cleats before a game in my life either as a player or when I coached.

I have heard of it done but never witnessed it.We put 3/4s on my son's when he played no one complained but it didn't help up at Cloudland in that mess,still won but UGLY.

Y’all know nothing because the only way Hampton is scoring 14 is with 2 touchdowns, missing BOTH 2 pt conversions and then getting a safety. Hampton doesn’t have an extremely reliable kicker. Hardworking kid anyway, but he’s just not there yet. And I doubt Michael lets him kick in the toughest game of the season. The trust isn’t there yet.
