They have a great tradition and lot's of pride in their program, just as Pearl Cohn does. My thoughts and predictions matter less than zero as to how the game goes, and should be taken with a grain of salt.

  With all that being said, PC looks like a team of destiny on the way to being mentioned for the next several years as one of metro's all time best. Good Luck to the Tomcats and Firebirds...may the best team win.

Haywood is a solid team with a very good running game, but not as good overall as last year. PC was a very good team last year, but look to be on another level this season...PC went to Haywood last ye

Haywood always seems to get better as the season gets longer. I think it turns out to be true again this year. However, I think PC is just simply better. PC is one of the few teams in the state that can match up with the hogs up front and match up with the speed and athletic ability on the outside. Also, PC has a great coach. Lastly, I would not be shocked if Haywood won the game. They are a good team with a certain punchers chance.

Haywood Tomcats are not going to mercy rule Pearl Firebirds in this game. It will not happen. I guarantee it. Pearl Firebirds are too good to let it happen. I am Captain Guru and I approve this message.

Okay! Will you take a second and go back and read my original post? Did I say anything whatsoever about a " Mercy rule" " blow out " or any other adjective you think of for a butt whopping?

I simply did not. 

He goes around to all the game threads and says the same thing. I guess he thinks it’s funny. I and most other posters I have talked to just think there is something wrong with him. I mean really. Who says this same thing over and over?  He’s got issues.

I don't have a problem with him at all BPM...he made it on my "bug zapper" list just one day after pizz, wingnut, and all the ER (same one) nut jobs. Now I just giggle when I see the notification.... BZZZTTTT/PFFFFTTT!!! LOL!

      Winfree's senior year was the season she needed to secure more college interest. That opportunity was taken away from her. A lot of false assumptions can be made about what happened and what the options are. Unfortunately, the former coach and administration did not allow Winfree to have due process. A lawsuit was filed for a reason, and it will run its course by people who conduct discovery and take depositions. Unless the parties settle out of court, a lot of the pertinent issues will come to the public surface. The real questions are why was Winfree dismissed from the team, and why the administration backed a coach whom they did not rehire.

      Per usual, we'll be hard to beat in the regular season, I'm sure. It's the post season that I'm more worried about, specifically the coaches. Maybe they'll be able to make some adjustments that will keep the momentum in our favor. How's Grays recovery coming along?

      Something don’t add up here a college coach is not going to turn away a good player they need just because they didn’t get along with their high school coach

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
