Congrats to PC on the win. Either team could've taken the gold ball back but the Hot Chickens wanted it more and one too many mistakes cost the Bees the win. But what a great season for Upperman! Look for the U to be on the hunt for a state title win next year

Congratulations to Pearl Cohn of the weather hadn't been a factor pretty sure Pearl would have had several more scores

Nope ! The Devils Head Coach cost them the game no adjustments to try to even compete congrats to Upperman I'm just saying PC the Athletes would have done a little more on a dry surface

Very even game. Weather hurt PC. The injury of #1 hurt the Bees. The muffed fumble punt run, and the 2 point conversion was they key plays in the game. PC had a little more depth and it showed in the second half. Great hard fought ballgame. Congrats to PC!

Our defense was worn out form the bigger PC players. I said earlier in the thread I was impressed by how well their offensive line moved and it proved to be the difference. Trying to tackle that number 7 while keeping their faster players contained was almost impossible when our d line was exhausted. Their coach was impressive. He knew what to do to win. They made adjustments after our first drive to stifle our strengths. PC seems to gain energy as the game goes on. Next year our sophomore qb will be a year older and he improves he will be near impossible to stop. We have a lot of key players coming back. It will be hard to replace Harris, Rollins, and Bush but it’s going to be a fun few years.

Upperman ran into a bigger, faster, stronger opponent in PC.  Upperman needed to be fearless and gritty to win. Today ,Upperman was timid and avoiding contact on defense . Just watch the film for proof. The muff punt was the game changer! 4 Upperman players watched as the kicker ran by.

That's quite a moot point. Upperman has to play on the same field too, not to mention the size disadvantage which plays into PCs favor in a ground and pound game. We can play the 'ifs, ands, and buts' game all day but the proof is in the pudding.

I don’t think that’s accurate. Bigger faster stronger sure but don’t think they were ever timid or avoiding contact.

Watch the film , it will show who the warriors are , I watched it on T.V. and my mother n law said something about it before I did.

I hate to say it but it looked like they were afraid to hit to me honestly. Definitely weren't laying the wood like they should've been
