You guys must not have followed Central football back when Rosser was there.  You guys also believe titles equate to skill

Craney may have been the DC but Larry Slade really ran it he just did not have the title

Has anyone heard anything about frontrunners for the job? It seemed like SC and SS were clear frontrunners but that has died out. Are there any frontrunners out there?

Surely to god they weren't serious about hiring Stanton Stevens, what an underwhelming hire that would be. Even though I am sure they want to rekindle the magic that Rosser created, hiring Stanton just because he is black and won a state title 20 years ago at AE would be a major mistake. 

I would also be surprised that Cummings is a leading candidate too, especially given how everything ended in Oak Ridge. I think several bars closed in Oak Ridge after he was fired because of how much business dropped off.

This could get interesting.  I am told that the $$$ people behind the football program at Central and the admin. are not on the same page as to whom to offer the job.
