If the transfer rule passes in January allowing a one time transfer then the private schools will all prosper.  The metropolitan public schools will be destroyed of talent.  This will afford BGA to get back in the game with Boyd CPA FRA and others in their class.  The DII AAA schools have already figured it out with massive $$$$ spent on coaches facilities and out of state players and boarding schools recruiting.  This new rule will be devastating to public school sports in every aspect.  Just imagine what will happen to Bradley and Tyner in  our area.   Baylor and MCallie can pick and choose and Boyd will take what’s left.

the north brainerd levee swamp bucs will not be first in line to receive the scraps of the 2 big chattanooga BlueBlood educatin institutions......the Church of christers over at the swamp will pick up what the St Elmo Sword of Joshua Independent Full Independent Pentecostal Assembly just off Broad Street on Charger Drive leaves them

...hearin that they have purchased a couple more used dollar general store buildings and puttin them up on the St elmo campus for housin

But yet those CCS Chargers are 5 students under the cutoff that allows them to stay in AA which is a joke but have increased their football roster by 20+ kids the last couple of years.  lol!  They play in the big boy division in all other sports, why won't they man up and move on up in Football?

Somehow I have a hard time buying this... that the school that has been playing football for 100+ years, has won half a dozen or so state titles, and literally has a statue of a football player on their campus...all of the sudden doesn't care about football? The win/loss record has not been good the last couple years, but they were in the championship game not too long ago.

Nobody said BGA doesn't care about football. However, the excitement for football at BGA is much different than years past and if the powers that be do not exercise their best judgement, the trajectory for football could go the wrong direction. I'm sure most BGA supporters want the right hire, but also need to be dynamic in the process so they're not left scraping the bottom of the barrel for a HC.

In the six years we were involved with the program, the excitement and overall attention fell dramatically. Hope they get the right person this hire

Lack of success = lack of excitement and attention...and the last few years have been pretty bad by historical BGA standards.

They need the right person to get things back on track.

This football job is a disaster.   BGA used to be a proud tradition that has been ruined by political correctness and DEI.

I realize message boards were created for stupidity, but this is impressive.

Quoting your message so that when the hire is made, we can decide if it's a disaster of a job or not.
