VOLnWTN
Here is the real question. Milan has athletes. Why is their girls basketball not competitive? Greer is a good coach.
crazzyness
I dont believe 99.8% of us could find anyone who could hit 17 of 21 from behind the arc in an empty gymnasium, let alone during game conditions. The folks who are trying to diminish 17 of 21 because she was playing a far inferior opponent can take a hike. Now flip the coin, and I could understand why some people might think that running offensive sets and setting multiple screens to give your star player, arguably the best player in A, open looks at 3 point shots while the game is obviously in hand up 40 points + in the 2nd half against a far inferior opponent is a somewhat... Distasteful. Edited December 25, 2023 by crazzyness

Distasteful. Yup heck alot of people can’t hit 17/21 on full speed layups. Incredible achievement by an incredible player. Sounds like the player/coaches realized it was a historic night so they kept putting her in position to make it actually historic and she kept knocking em down. Thats a good coach and team. Thoughtful and worrying about the other teams ability to keep the game close or guard a player is the opponents issue. All records like this come with somebody way really special played too many minutes or shot to much its the only way the records like this get broken. I said “meet”him once and you will know. Maybe reading comprehension isn’t your thing. Did you congratulate your buddy last night? Figured we'd hear from you after the game last night. I had to work so I didn't get to watch but some friends went and said it was a couple of pretty good games and good teams. Good luck to both the rest of the way I'd love several of our local teams to make some deep runs, it's about that time!
