maybe not an upset but it looks like number 2 seed 138A Ferrell has forfeited and that opens that WC up even more now as he was some peoples champion!

Didn’t think Jenkins from Oakland would drop to the consolations after the first rd at 190.  I didn’t have him winning it, and he could wrestle back to where I thought he’d finish, but still… a 10-9 loss in the opening rd is a bit unexpected.

Unfortunately Jake was really ill.  That kid is tough so it had to be bad.

Ellis is solid. He's fairly consistently right around the top 6-8 in the state and has been for a couple years. Just hasn't been able to get over the hump. Maybe he's finally having a breakthrough this year

Arash's opponent in semis controlled the match until he gassed. When his opponent gassed, Arash hit his takedowns at will. He could've easily had a couple or few more if he didnt waste so much time trying to turn him.
