That is correct. Playing Alcoa is what got us to the next level. Gave us prospective on what it takes.  I met a few of the Alcoa  coach t posters and we had donuts. The Alcoa players are business. That was my biggest takeaway.

I totally agree with this. Just like when we played Fulton in the state tournament in basketball last year.  It was a business trip for that program.  You learn real quick what it takes to win a championship, the level of commitment and determination.  I’ve got a lot of respect for programs like that.  Baxter is building programs like that in all sports.  Good coaches good kids good parents. It takes commitment across-the-board to be successful.  Come on Friday night!

I’m from Macon so take it with a grain of salt but I think Macon has it by 7. Borders are straight ballers. Our defense is really good. Our boys play with all they have and if we can stop the Bees qb (straight baller btw) we are good Macon 35-28

Alcoa is very good every year. Last I check Upperman not the only team in 4A that will have to play them. So you need to add some more team to that list. I have been to Macon games and Upperman games. Macon fans our just as bad if not worse than Upperman. You our correct one of Macon players tried to put out one of Upperman a player eyes out. Which I have been told that player does stuff like that. The thing is that player it happen to needed stitches above his eye. That kids only missed a couple of plays. He told them cover up and back he went. If I’m not mistaken also didn’t Macon announcer got arrest during one of there games. I may be wrong but I don’t think so. This has turned into a big rivalry and both teams will be ready play. I think it will be a close game like last time.

I want to add to my post. I’m not on here to bash Macon’s fans. I have met some really nice people from there. Every team and school has those few fans that get little crazy.

Probably not but I’m sure there is a lot of teams that have never beat Alcoa. You have to respect Alcoa. They our playing a class up. I wonder what region they will put them in. You would think it would be region 3 but who knows. Is Macon going to leave region 4 to play teams that our closer to them.

Alcoa and Upperman have played and it was close. Everyone seems to think Alcoa is gonna rule 4A but there are a lot of good teams they won’t just walk through it like everyone thinks
