Would love to know of your sources as I also have the utmost reliable sources and no such move has been solidified. While there has been plenty of movement on the staff this offseason. Coach Vetetoe is currently the offensive coordinator at Oakland. It would take the right situation for him to leave that role. Is it possible he returns to the Creekbank? Sure it is.

Your sources are technically correct until the end of May, and then they'll be wrong. Eric Vetetoe is set to make his return to Trousdale County Football at the start of June-he's been the middle school baseball coach for 2 years now.

A lot of confidence, I like it! For what it’s worth I’d be more than ok with the move.

I believe he is coaching the defense however, it's hard to tell because of his presence at ALL of Macon County's sporting events.

If all of these coaching moves take place (cothron, vetetoe, west), will there be too many chiefs and not enough Indians on the staff and will Gregory be overshadowed?

Hasn’t Gregory always been the bridge/fall guy for what they knew was coming? No way the rest of those guys you named wanted the heat for last year! To be honest from what I saw if TC dont get some major transfers or improved drastically this year won’t be much better than last. What happens next year when it’s time to start competing again I’m curious to see who’s calling the “shots” just like you are! This is top tier entertainment especially when they win 1/2 games next year…..will heads roll and a new leader emerge?

"Top tier entertainment " is a heckuva way to put it. Kudos to anyone willing to tolerate the toxicity that is Hartsville. JFL here but my goodness the dynamics seem terrible. Embarrassing what we've become and someone will right the ship...question is who, and if the community will allow it. Yes, you need talent, which I hear is coming. But you also need coaching and leaders of young men. Hopefully that's what we'll get and return to our championship ways. Our motto has always been out work, out condition and out perform our opponents.  At least that's what I remember. Reality is you gotta have talent too. Time will tell but all will see

Would love to hear RTDs input, Snowball and others, more in the know than me

You are 100% correct on the motto of TC Football. Just my opinion, the biggest struggle is talent. However, the program and especially last year and this coming up year are suffering from past failures not current ones. Whatever happens this Spring and this Fall are massive to the development of the program. All coaches have their work cut out for them. Time will tell if we can get this thing out of the mud.

Gregory knew what he was getting himself into when he applied for the job. Brandon Eden should be the next guy! He was loyal to this program while Gregory had stints with rivals Westmoreland and Macon County. Eden has an impressive resume as a Yellow Jacket: 2x State Champion as a player and 3x State Champion as a Coach. The best case scenario for Trousdale County football would be Eden as the head coach, Eric Vetetoe and Davy Cothron being the Offensive Coordinators, and Jacob Smith as Defensive Coordinator.

Can the Jacket faithful give the new guy at least 4 seasons before wanting a new guy?  Little Satterfield got more than enough time to straighten this mess out.
