The notches on "the man with the gold balls" belt have not come from the Wizard, I don't know the exact record, but I would venture to bet that Russell has a losing record to the Wizard, although it would be close. That can not be said by many coaches. It should be an excellent game, and Gibson County will be extremely hard to beat without Fuqua in the game. The early line would have to be a pick 'em.

Just trying to stir up a little pre-game excitement. These are 2 excellent teams and coaches. My guess is that they will split with each other and face each other in the post-season when it may really be an important game. Good luck to both.

Gibson County has to much for Westview, and without Fuqua

it may not be close this time around.

I have seen both teams, Gibson County did not impress me in there win over Chester County, or in the Dresden game. I think with Westview losing Fuqua, it makes the game a toss up. If Fuqua were healthy, Westview would win 9 out of 10 times they played.

 

Baird is the most dominant player on the floor, however, Gibson County doesn't shoot the ball as well as Westview. Defense is a push, as both teams are excellent, rebounding to Gibson County, and free throw shooting to Westview. This will be an excellent ball game, and could be the 1st of several meetings.....hopefully 5.

This game would be a tossup without Fuqua but Russell is worth 10 points by himself. GC by 10.

Westview will be at a disadvantage without Fuqua. She is an excellent player. How long is she out for????

You keep talking about Baird. Okay, I have seen her play and yes she is good. I would have to believe that either Cavin or Ferrell from Westview could handle her. Fuqua was an excellent player, but she wasn't Westview's only player.
