Chip, from what I remember, you were in foul trouble a lot of that game...then again, so was Brandon, IIRC. Hubie double-teamed him the whole game after the missed dunk after the opening tip, and it took all three of you to make it work.

BTW, Chip, keep up the good work. You've been playing well lately, and Bartlett needs you to keep that up. Just leave the big guy from the Briarcrest JV team alone, though. :D

Jermaine Dailey a 6'5" Post player from Millington High is a very good post defender. He has really long arms and is really quick off of the floor. He is one of the best defenders in West Tennessee.

Buford Husrt at JCM,this kid is full of energy and can guard the mss out of you.He can't play a lick of offense though...this is why he doesn't get much playin time if any in some games. He is a senior, about 6'2 or 6'3 i'm guessing. He doesn't have any potential to go to college or anything though just a solid DEFENSVE player.

James Garmany of Rhea County is my pick. He is the best defensive player I've seen all year. He leads the area in steals, is high on the list in assists, and has been in double figures in rebounds and scoring in every game this season. All this without getting into foul trouble. He also is very good at drawing charges. Plus, he is in good enough condition to go the full 32 without getting tired!

    • The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??
    • If that Yellow Paint is all gone I'll flat bet it didn't wash off there. I bet that took some scrubbing to remove that if it is gone. Lacrosse is one of those northern sports all these misplaced Yankee's that are posion to the community brought in by  (Blount Partnership, ( The Devil) with them so somebody allowed them to paint their markings on the field that cost more than the twenty top people on payroll at Maryville make a year. All this to please the 1% Club and the 25 people that would come to see it. All in the name of WOKE!!!!!!
    • They will probably, struggle
    • Dyersburg is going to be good, really good. As mentioned, they have a lot of talent on the way and the trio of Chelby, Joya, and KayKay will only be better with a full season together under their belt. To me, playing in Murfreesboro two consecutive postseasons will only serve to make them more dangerous if/when they stand among the final eight teams this March. Experience, good or bad, always makes you better. And not only do they have experience, they know how to win there. Schedules are coming together for all of the teams and I am excited about what I am seeing on the preliminary drafts on Dyersburg’s schedule. I know I am being a tease, but it’s simply not my place to announce what another school is doing. With that said, I won’t go into specifics. However, I am excited about renewed home and away contracts for the non-district portion of the calendar. I think west Tennessee will have a lot of interest as well.
    • What does everyone have in the final 8? In no particular order. 1. Eagleville 2. Gordonsville 3. Greenback 4. Oakdale 5. South Pitt/ East Robertson-- not sure 6. Richland 7. Halls 8. Union City
