Though it is tough to say, my winners right now would be.....

AAA-Wadele Williams: there may not be a player who means more to his team than Wadele. He has led a decent team to a 14-1 record with some big wins, and is averaging over 21 points and 7 assists...WOW...

AA-Brian Fisk: there is not a better all around player in the state than Fisk. Think Dane Bradshaw with more athletic ability, a better outside shot, and better defense. Fisk is hands-down the best defender in the state...

A-Jake Skogen: Skogen is the leading scorer in Class A, as well as the best player on the best team. I have a hard time seeing anyone but Skogen win this year's Class A crown, though Jamar Jenkins is a heck of a player, and should be a favorite for next year's crown...

D-II-Josh Suddath: Suddath is a scoring machine, and will likely win the award given his location and stats, but this race will be as close as any. The Best player in D-II is Charles Hampton, but he gets very little pub. Gasol is a favorite to win it as well. Also, Tre Williams of Harding, and Joe Thompson and Everett Bills of Father Ryan will be in contention...

He honestly wasn't getting the looks he deserved..... Even after an oustanding summer, his recruitment level was a lot lower than it ever should have been.... As it is, Brian is in a great situation at an up-and-comng Mid Major program, where he will have the opportunity to show some higher-profile Mid-Majors exactly what they missed out on.......

It's tough to be seen when you played with three excellent offensive players last year (Powell,Morris,Cyrus the Virus). The only games he was able to really stand out was the two games that Powell and Crittendon were suspended. That was when I really took notice of him as a scorer. He has always been a great defender, so the offensive side of his game has been under raps for the last three years.

Fisk pulled a Pearson on every Mid-major school in this part of the country. UTM and Murray State were just praying that he, like Pearson, stayed under the radar.

Lipscomb STOLE this player. Someone call the cops!! :) The Church of Christ school has committed Grand Theft!!! :D;):D
