I'd say Mays was the best lineman, but it would be a coin flip for me to pick between Aaron Roberts, Jim Lambert, or Bryan Sharpe for the best all-around player at Kingston.

I played with Kelly Holcomb at Lincoln County High. There have many other great players from there, also.

i got to cent, but im surprised no1 has mentiond either Fred Lane Sr. or Fred Lane Jr. Lane Jr. might have been a premire NFL back but was killed by his wife

O.k. everyone is talking about great players well what about a father son duo. I have one from Hardin County, Chris Qualls and his son Brian. Chris was a punishing Linebacker in the seventies and played at Vandy. Chris held the single season record for tackles until his son broke it his sr. year. Brian is now at the University of North Alabama(UNA).

Kenwood High has existed for only 6 years, so the choice is real easy. The only person to sign with a D-1 school was Will Martin. He is now the starting Safety at MTSU after transferring from Kansas State. He played qb/fs for Kenwood and led the Knights to the 1999 Semi finals before losing to eventual state champ Memphis East.

Johnny Jones - later played at Tennessee. Now coaching at Munford Hs and still looks like he could play.

Todd Collins, Jeff County. Great Linebacker and even better tight end. Only Tennessee player that I know of that was the USA Today Player of the Year '87. (Defense) Unbelievable athlete. Epitomy of a hard worker.

The best at Briarcrest was probably Antoine Scott.

 

They had another guy #56 I believe who got a scholarship to Arkansas.

 

Hardings best would be Daniel Angus. Ranked the 8th best prospect in the country. Got a scholarship to Colorado in 92? Later played at Memphis...he was the best tight end in the country.
