DB fans, quite giving the haters any responses. People have always hated us in every sport and now that we have beat Johnson City again, they gotta start crying and hoping that they have not fallen off in the only major sport that they have consistently been competetive with us. Don't give the losers the pleasure.

Science Hill has won 10 straight regular season titles. Seems to me they're the best team year in and year out. Arty said that Science Hill was awful this year. Well that awful team won the Big Seven once again and they also beat DB once this year. This is suppose to be one of DB's better teams and a rebuilding year for the toppers. What does that tell you?

DB 75

North 55

I saw you at the game Art, you were working those refs pretty good!! How about some of those calls?? I saw 1 ref take a step backwards, it gave Coach McCrary a bloody nose!

Refs made us work hard and Scarsalone (spelling??) is a very good basketball player. Better than any single player in the Big 7, right on par with Chuckie Lindholm @ Volunteer.

Rode trip Tuesday.

Hey look at me, I got a PLUS STAR!!

Lets get it on!! The prelims are over, now for the main course! It's Topper Choppin' Time in Tennessee!!

Indians faired just fine on the road, playing with Azmar Blye setting out the game.

Indians were led by Jarrod Wootten, Seth Jervis and Joey Blackwell (his best game ever). Wootten had a huge tomahawk slam dunk in the 1st qtr. Jervis carried the Indians in the 2nd half. Blackwell hit some big shots when we needed 'em!!

Way to go Tribe!!!!

23-4 Regular Season record has prepared you well for the District and Region Tournaments. Have a good road trip 7, I can't make it, but I will listen to the game.

Roll Tribe Roll

Giddy Up!! ;)

Way to go Indians.....

Great Game JOEY BLACKWELL, with the way you jumped over those taller guys for those rebounds I think you should consider High Jump this track season.....

Great Game SETH JERVIS, 15 points in the 4th quarter, a strong finish when the team needed you.......

Way to Go HENRY WILLIAMS, 17 point game......

Flyin High Award to JARROD WOOTTEN for that Flying Slam Dunk in the first quarter....

GREAT TEAM EFFORT !!

Well Fool, thanks for the good mark!!

I am going back to my 1st prediction on the Region Finish.

DB and Greeneville going for it all. SH just has no inside game, that will show itself big tonight.

Fool, just take care of business tonight in rowdy Greeneville! You know how the Topper fans treat you guys (and us too) when you go to their place, so turn it around on them and be as rude and crude as possible.

Sorry I missed giving "Giddy Up's" to Henry "Hawk" Williams for scoring 17 against North. It snuck up on me, I did not realize that Hawk put in that many. Balanced scoring is always an Indian Trademark!! You cannot say the Tribe has to many Chiefs and not enough Indians! We have 1 Cheif, "Cheif C MO" and a whole bunck of INDIANS coming for your scalp!!

Roll Tribe Roll

Giddy Up!! ^_^

    • Deja vu all over again, 7 yrs apart. SMDH Does anybody talk to each other?
    • OK, well, that’s because two quarterbacks can’t start. That’s football 101. The main quarterback won the starting job, so he was on varsity, and the Seymour transfer did not win the starting job. He played some varsity. He was mainly junior varsity, and he balled out when healthy, so for the starting quarterback who’s been starting varsity since his freshman year, if you have any form of proof that he’s gotten worse, somehow, whether that means stats or whatnot, please feel free to share.
    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
