you must not live in Elizabethton, TN, cornpup or whoever you are, because everyone around here knows that Jarfly Dugger threw in the low 100s in his prime. As another lefty, he is my pitching coach, and a great one at that. He went to the Men's National fastpitch championship, and if he isnt the best to ever throw underhanded, I dont know who is. So the next time you reply to something, find out a little bit more about what you're talkin about.

I've heard of JarFly Dugger and he is pretty dang good. Anyone he works with is bound to be a good pitcher. He is well known in this area and is a fine man, very supportive of fast pitch softball and loves the game. If you haven't had the oppertunity to see him pitch, your truly missing out.

I'll tell you what uhssoftball12, you come up with a time and place and we'll settle this once and for all. I'll bring a Jugs radar gun, and if ole "Jarfly" can crank it in the low 100's I'll pay you in the low 100's. No, better yet I'll give you a clean crisp Benjamin Franklin for evry mph over 80. Pitching speed is the single most overestimated thing that there is in fastpitch softball. In my years of being around this game I have learned two things are for sure about pitching. #1 If a girls dad tells me his daughter has a riseball, 99 times out of 100 that means she has a high fastball. #2 If a girls dad tells me his daughter throws 60, 99 times out of 100 she trows 55. So you bring your "barfly", I mean "Jarfly" and I'll bring the Jugs gun. When you lose the bet, all I ask is for you to start a new thread on here and tell everyone that you were wrong. By a long shot.

Hello, Cornpup. And, what you said about the rise ball is absolutely true. And I admire the way you think about that. You sound like a coach. But I can promise you that he threw in the low 100's in his prime. He can throw about 90 now. He was in that movie "The River" with Mel Gibson. In this movie, when Mel Gibson was batting, guess who was throwin the ball? That's right...Jarfly. What ever time is good for you, just name a place and the time and we'll be there. Just make sure it's within a reasonable range. I am uhssoftball12's catcher. And I have been for the past 3 years. We've both worked with Jarfly for 2 years this April. If you odn't believe me how wicked fast he can pitch, then come on down to Unaka High School on Saturday morning about 10:00 AM. The highschool is right off of hwy 91. Need directions? Ask and I'll gladly give them to u. Nice talkin to you.

*Love those Rangers!*
