Goosevol steamrolled by cheerleader

A Lenoir City cheerleader did a couple too many somersaults and nailed goosevol at Oliver Springs last night. Goose did a good job of protecting the camera, though.

What I always hated was those football players making the tackle and going out of bounds and crashing into your knees when you couldn't get out of the way fast enough.

 

I guess a cheerleader kicking you in the mouth on a flip wouldn't feel too good either.

I saw the sneak attack. It was totally unprovoked!!! The Kingston cheerleaders were minding their own business and then BAM... here comes the human projectile. It was not a pretty site. I am glad nobody was hurt... but it was funny.

Just goes to show you how it's always good to "watch each other's back"!

 

I'm glad neither cheerleader was hurt...it could've been bad...glad it wasn't.

 

I thought the Kingston cheerleader that got accidentally "ambushed" was very gracious, I probably would've turned around with a reflex punch!

She should have been paying attention! Or, maybe, maybe, maybe - cheering???

I always manage to get out of the way of 300 pound linemen. Foul balls never hit me when I get to close, but then just sitting on the bottom rown and I see this Lenoir City cheerleader doing about 150 flips down the court. Flip 150 got the Kingston cheerleader and me on the rebound. I'm happy to say that the swelling is going down on my arm and the camera is fine.

Does Oliver Springs still have those football players being cheerleaders?

I saw it all,and believe Goose really enjoyed it.Maybe he thinks it will make the Roane County News? Not this time Goose old people like you and I just go unnoticed anymore. But if I had a camera I would have gotten the shot,also heard that maybe Coach C might have had hand in the plot?

Maybe some of our high school players will starting picking out cheerleaders or girls on the front row to dive into!!
