Here are the times for Monday...

4:30 3-AA #2 Seymour Lady Eagles vs 4-AA #3 Loudon Lady Redskins

6:00 3-AA #1 Austin-East Lady Roadrunners vs 4-AA #4 Lenior City Lady Panthers

7:30 3-AA #4 Carter Lady Hornets vs 4-AA #1 Oliver Springs Lady Bobcats

9:00 3-AA #3 Alcoa Lady Tornadoes vs #2 4-AA Kingston Lady Yellow Jackets

 

The only differences might be in the 4:30 & 9:00 games, although Alcoa Host should play the late game.

I think the 4:30 and 9:00 games are different. I remember hearing that Loudon would be playing the last game. Please correct me if I'm wrong because I plan on going to that game.

I think you are right. I hear that the Home team will play first and the visitors last which is a crock of bull.

why make Loudon & Seymour play last?

Anyways, here is what I think will happen on Monday night.

 

2 Kingston had better beware playing at 3 Alcoa. This could be the best contest of the night, but...I have to give the nod the home team. Alcoa by 5pts

 

2 Seymour against 3 Loudon. Dang, another excellent match-up as each team features a "big" girl. Loudon is battle tested with Fritts back and how does Seymour react after blowing the championship?? I'll take Loudon by 3pts

 

1 AE should have little or no problem with 4 LC. In the biggest mismatch of the night, I'll take AE by 15pts

 

1 OS versus 4 Carter looks like a mismatch on paper. However, there are some added incentives in a contest that could be a low scoring affair. Nonetheless, I'm taking my beloved Lady Cats by 10pts

The question was... Why does the home team (I suppose you mean Alcoa) play the first game. Well technically, Alcoa is not the "home" team. They are the host team. The middle games of the day are being played by the number 1 seeds. This allows them to get home early and REST.

Predictions

 

Alcoa 55 Kingston 51 - on a nuetral floor this game would have a different result.

 

Austin East 57 LC 44 - LC's matchup zone will create problems for the Lady Roadrunners for one half.

 

OS 71 Carter 49 - too much firepower from the Lady Cat's

 

Upset Special- Loudon 47 Seymour 41 - Suddiq matches up with talented 6'3 Johnson in height and that will give Seymour fits.

 

 

Look for low scoring games and alot of time possesion.
