bluefan2
Will Hudgens from Ridgeway has also been receiving letters from all above mentioned schools plus. We know that these letters are sent out to many other great prospect and are having fun receiving them. When he is a grand father he can pull these letters out and tell his grand kids he could have gone anywhere he wanted, but he choice ??? because they were the best school. What great stories he can tell. Good luck to all upcoming seniors work hard this summer and remember "Dedication and Hard work" on the field and also in the classroom will pay off down the road. Guest BigDog1116
I think Brett Stanton (Sophmore) from Carter could turn out to be a D1 prospect in the future. What will really help him if he grows (6'0 180). He is very smart at the position and hardly ever makes any bad decisions. He has a cannon for an arm with very good accuracy. I hope to see this kid develop into a really special player and maybe D1.

AGGSL
Was Phelps the starting QB last year?
flip96
Corey Russell from Powell Valley (next year will be Cumberland Gap) is a top QB from the state. He threw for 2600 yds., 19 TD's, 4 int., and just over 60% comp. rate. He, like everyone else is recieving letters to schools, but he also is listed on espn.com as one of only 4 QB's out of the state as being recruited nationally. Another good QB in the state that should be recruited but be recruited as an athelete is Mark Byrd from Cloudland. He would do good on any speacial team as a punt or kick returner. touchdown
Who are the other three QB's on ESPN being recruited nationally?
flip96
The other three TN QB's on ESPN's list are David Wolke from Smyrna, Michael Edmiston who plays at Lincoln Co., and Antonio Heffner from Memphis Melrose. All four QB's are being recruited nationally, and I do know that Antonio Heffner has been offered from LSU, Ark., Miss., and Miss. St. already. touchdown
flip96 - Do you have to have a subcripton to the insider on ESPN's web site to view the QB class of 2004 list? MTSU's Coach Andy Mac met with Coach Shad at Smyrna & pretty much told him that he was going to offer David Wolke a scholarship early, even if he gets hurt his last year of high school he will still get a full ride. I think that is how it works with early signing's. David is also listed on UT's top ten recruit list on volquest.com. jmu031
Jared Elliott will end up as the #2 or #3 qb prospect in the state when its all said and done. Book it.
