B) I REALLY planned on saying congratulations to the Lady Raiders for staying in there and winning the ball game. I'm an Oakland mother and we really didn't have our bats going after the 4th inning and, under normal circumstances, I would say we didn't deserve to win.

 

HOWEVER, when my daughter told me that the Lady Raiders AND their fans (which are the parents that they probably learned this behavior from in the first place!) were flicking our girls off and saying horrible things to our catcher ... WELL, I must say ... I feel like the best team lost tonight.

 

How sad that softball has sunk to this level ...

mamavikwms Don't mar this game with your rantings. I was running the camera on our players through the whole game and post game just so people like you can't run their mouths and blame Coffee for their problems. People think I'm running it for the game but after what was taken from us a few years ago at the state, we will never play a game that I can't tape. I'm ready for a lawsuit against the first false accusation of liable against us. It has become a trend for people like you. I'm surprised you didn't use the race card too. Just like the whiny liberals. Come on over and watch the video if you like. I've seen it. Your wrong.! Your team deserves better respect for a game well played than someone like you tearing everyone down around them. Good luck against Soddy Daisy.

 

CoachT...what do I have to do to get the ID of someone posting liable accusations? If I have to, I WILL have a lawyer tomorrow!

Sometimes people just handle a loss and then run their mouth. people blame our parents and players, but then it's one of Oakland's parents who makes comments on message boards just to start trouble. What a shame for people that try and ruin a great game. GO LADY RAIDERS. I am honored to call the games, this may be the best game I've done in over 1,400 broadcast.

This was a Great game! Oakland came out a little more ready to play than Coffee County did. The first few innings everything was going Oakland's way and they were capitalizing. An error in left field for Coffee led to two runs scoring. When Toombs hit the shot off the center field fence and two scored for Coffee the momentum shifted a little. The next couple of innings went by with good play from both teams. In the bottom of the seventh Coffee led off with a fly out by Toombs. Fleenor then hit a shot to right center that turned out to be a double. Kimbro lined out to first (great play by 1st base.) Catalano gets a hit to right that scores the run and she advanced to second. Bush then knocked her. Oakland is a very good team that deserves as much respect as you can give them. I wish them the best of luck on Friday. I highly doubt that there was any "flicking" off going on Coffee was too busy celebrating with their fans and each other to worry about that. I would have paid ten bicks at least to watch that game it was great! Best of luck to both teams on Friday and the rest of the way.

Whoever made the post about getting the lawyers was totally uncalled for. Somebody MAY have flicked off the other team. I don't see why a grown woman would just make up something like that. I used to play softball and there have been many a times when bad words and actions have been exchanged. Its a softball game! Congratulations to Coffee County. Congratulations to Oakland. They both have one more game to play. Just give it up and let the girls play ball!!!!!!!!!

      This whole situation is bonkers. You don’t just kick your star player off the team just because you heard them say the F word; the coach definitely had something against the player, or somebody definitely did. Also, nobody has brought up the idea that the school blackmailed the college to get the college to withdraw the scholarship offer, not to mention that the coach who kicked her off is no longer even with the program; they were fired. I think this is a pretty easy lawsuit. I don’t know if she should deserve that much money, but I think she should get enough money for a full-ride scholarship if she cannot get one after this situation.

      Oh yeah, I’m sure you are different people just always on the same thread for some reason, always agreeing with each other, perhaps just a bunch of dorks who would like to ###### and moan about high school football coaches do a lot of other students, so you make a football team and get a yell at them. When they do something wrong, but I’m sure you don’t like that, do you?   and I’m sure I’m aware of where you get information. A teacher who was on the coaching staff but was fired after the new coaching and staff came in and realized he actually had to start taking his assistant job a little bit more seriously than just wanting to make a little extra cash on the side, hardly even showing up to most practices, should’ve left with his buddy to go to Farragut. I’m sure he could get him a defensive coaching job, but I doubt he will be there in three years. Looking at the way Farragut is currently going.

      It may be hard to believe but there’s more people than me that think you guys are a bunch of losers.    I’m sure the coaching staff, yourself included, cursed at a bunch of high school students. Nobody could name more than 3 coaches on staff due to the constant turnover.

      That's complete BS.  Nobody at ACHS has access to CHS student records unless a transfer is made from CHS to ACHS.

      Trez's last scandal has died down, so I guess this is there opportunity to be the best 4A team playing in 2A a la Sissy MTN.  At least they won't be in a Z-district with 1a teams in the regular season.
