just read chattanoogan.com and they had it posted that soddy daisy beat cumberland county 1-0. i congratulate soddy and wish them luck tom. in the finals against either hunters lane or cumberland county. they said it was a pitchers battle with soddy scoring in the first and that was it for the ballgame.

Good Luck Soddy bring home the state trophy.

Just wondering - where do the pitchers from Soddy take pitching lessons - also, where do the pitchers from Cumberland Co. take lessons??

The Soddy pitchers take pitching lessons from Club K................that's K as in KIRK. Coach Clifford Kirk teaches his pitchers how to pitch and does a dang good job!!!!!!!!!

I think the Amanda Page girl and the Savannah Filley girl take lessons from Club k as in ......the REAL Club K.

I'll take the girls that went to the "fake" Club K any day. They always seem to finish ahead of the "real" Club K girls.

and the year before that (Beech Club K pitcher 2001)

yeah 4fstpitch but why dont you go ahead and look at the two years before those two you named and tell me who won? year in year out soddy is there where was dickson county and beech this year?

Obviously Coach Kirk does a great job. The difference between that Club K and the real Club K is that they coach kids from schools all over not just Dickson Co. and Beech. My bet is if you research it a little the real Club K was represented a little better this year at state than Club "K"irk.

If you are fortunate to be in the "Kirk" K then you don't have to travel to Nashville once or twice a week, plus it is free!!!!!!!
