Best Team in Chatt Area

Who has the best overall team in the Chatt area? Im not going to lie im a Cleveland fan and i know they will be good, but i want to know what others think about the Blue Raiders or any other good teams in the area.

Soddy Daisy should be pretty tough too.

I think that cleveland will be on top but i think chatt. central will not be far behind

Cleveland has a a ton of experience on the offensive line with 4 starters returning. The offense will be explosive with a very strong line and talented backs.

Although only a Class 2-AA school, Chattanooga Tyner Academy should be mentioned in the preseason list of the best schools in the Chattanooga area. I'm looking forward to watching them play the McCallie School and Chattanooga Central High School plus their Regional games to see if they really are Tops in 'nooga.

Are we just talking 4A schools? Mikki, you apparently didn't go to the East Ridge 7 on7 passing Tournament. Cleveland is in Cleveland, not Chattanooga. East Ridge and Central? Is that it? What about Baylor and McCallie? Soddy-Daisy who beat Central 38-0 in the East Ridge Tournament?

DeepBall, Soddy will be very tough, and about the 38-0 passing league thing. It was just a passing league. Central had 5-6 starters not in attendance just as Soddy probally had. I wish ya'lls coach would have chosen to re-schedule us this year. Then we could see what the real outcome is, But i guess for know all we can do is speculate.

Typfan, Mikki said Central had a lot of speed and talent, and would be throwing alot. Sounds like what u would be doing in a passing tournament. I wouldn't expect a SD vs Central game to be much different than last year.

Last year was a great first half, I'll give it to you with the win. But you have to admit playing on the contamiated tundra of Soddy was a direct result to our three second half turn overs in the firts 6 minutes. I would love to see Soddy's vaunted running game this year vs. a Central defense that returns 10 starters and All-State middle linebacker Brent Hayes. Anyway good luck on the Season! Beat the H___ out of Ooltewah and Rhea County for me.

Soddy did look very good at the passing league. I think some of those posting were just thinking about Region 4-4A.
