Good thing you should ask home team what did Unaka do.Just look at there schedule and see who they play and that should answer your question.

But thats ok theres an old saying (what goes around comes around)and come round ball in the hall were gonna make let Tennessee High and company know why

they should have let us back in the ARBYS CLASSIC.

Just how good is Unaka going to be this year? I know Lewis & Chambers will be an impact, but who else is going to leave a mark? I understand that one of the stand out soph's has a bad knee and won't be playing... sorry, can't remember his name... seeems like it is Brent ? But who else is there?

Yes, Chambers will be an impact, but Lewis is not playing. Hasn't played since his sophmore year. The one with the bad knee is McInturff. But to answer you question, we also have two other great seniors. Collins and Jones. Derick Cline, a junior, is also a very capable player. And people may remember Tee Blevins from baseball? Well, it just so happens that he is pretty good at basketball too.

The link on Coacht to the Johnson City Press has a complete list of the teams playing in the tourney. But to answer your question about who is invited from the local area, it's like a lot of tourneys across the state. A local team is matched against a team from out of the area in the first round. They then advance if they win or fall to the loser's bracket. There's not any other way that would be fairer. As to who gets invited---well I guess that is up to the tournament directors.

    • Jason Lambert should be the only choice for the Baseball coaching position.
    • From the stats I found online it looks like Gabe Eddington- .484, 44 total hits, 43 runs scored and 42 stolen bases.Meanwhile, on the mound, the Austin Peay commit had a record of 8-2, while compiling 50 innings pitched with an ERA of 1.82. Carson Parrott - 7-0 overall as a starting pitcher with a 1.41 ERA, 95 strikeouts and a save in 53 and 1/3 innings pitched. Parrott hit .392 with 3 home runs, 21 RBIs with a .566 OBP and .716 SLG. Jaxon Walker - .454, 53 hits, 38 RBI’s, 9 HRs.   Not saying the other three aren’t deserving but Quillen had better BA than all three and was just as dominate pitching.  Like I said I don’t know how you leave off the 3a Baseball player of the year last year when he put up better numbers.  I know Greeneville’s Coach wasn’t happy about it saying “I don’t give a s*** what anybody else says. That kid is the best player in Tennessee, and everybody else on our team rises to his level“.  I’m sure winning another State Championship as a junior is more important to Carson than the individual award, it’s just a head scratcher to not be nominated
