stealth
I would have to say Oakdale, Sunbright or Midway. How in the world did Midway get the Region trournament last year ?
Bobericks
I have been in Clinch and had been in Forge Ridge a few times watching games. I'd have had to say the Forge Ridge was smaller with 2-3 rows on one side and 2 rows on the bench side including the benches and score keeper. I'm really glad that Forge Ridge and Powell Valley merged to form Cumberland Gap.
MidwayGWave32
Awh dont wine about MHS having the tourny's. Anyways its not are fault that MHS gym is small. Well for anyone who has never been there the court itself is really good and there is good room to throw the ball in. Its the seating that is the problem. Back to not being our fault... the county screwed us back when the gym was built. It was going to be a a EXACT copy of rockwood high school's gym. OH well i like the closeness of the people and the noise. Edited November 15, 2003 by MidwayGWave32
ballplaya32
I played on Midway's gym two years ago...the gym floor is nice, and the gym itself is cozy... The main thing for me was the lighting, it looked kind of dark... but it was loud though, i do remember that (probably cuz the game went into OT)

HSBALL101
Midway's gym is tiny. There are bleachers on both sides, but they are only a few rows up. I went to the region tourney at midway and thought they had a very nice gymnasium and there fan support there was one of the best I ever ever seen in 1A basketball. OSHSman
Oliver Springs might not have the smallest gym in the state, but its small for a AA school. Seats about 1,000. It gets really loud. I heard that someone with a decible meter recorded a reading of 124 decibles when OS won their sub-state game in '98. Clarksburg#20
Clarksburg has only about three rows of seats on each side of the gym. We are a really small school, though. We may have a small gym, but it is one of the loudest ones around, too. We have 3 rows of stands on each side of the gym plus bleachers up on the stage. There are only a little over 400 kids in the whole K-12 school. We always have a large crowd at the games, though.
iceman
columbia academy not only has the smallest gym in tn, they have the smallest gym in the entire world. the sidelines are like 6 inches from the wall and you can probably fit no more than 200 people in the stands. it is awful.
