BB3
The smallest gym by far is that at Richard Hardy Memorial in South Pittsburg....the length of the floor may be 70 feet and that is strentching it.
TheSpartan117
Does anybody remember the old Scotts Hill gym? The players on the bench were out on the floor and you had to practically step over people to go to and come back from the consession stand. I liked that place though because alot of great players before my time have played there and that has to mean something..... God yes. Well, there is a division in Memphis of high schools that are not TSSAA, but a Christian (I think, not sure if all are or not) league of small schools. Macon Road Baptist and Central Baptist come to mind...

Does Richard Hardy High School basketball team still use the same gym as the 5th and 6th grade basketball team? The gym is small no matter how you look at it. South Pittsburg's gym is small but not as small as some people make it sound. Edited December 23, 2003 by stats101

coasterboarder
Columbia Academy has a cracker box for a gym. Awful! I didnt take the time to look through the whole thread, so maybe this has already been said, but Columbias gym is awesome. It is by far my favorite gym out of all the ones Ive visited on the road. It really isnt that small compared to some, and it has the best feel to it.

thorough97
For a relatively new school, Walker Valley has a small gym

mg
Lake County's middle school gym has got them all beat. The court is cut off about 5 feet on each of the sides going longways. The bleachers are only 3 rows and they are made of wood. you are sooooooooo right.... that lake cnty middle school gym is one of the most dangerous ones to play in..... the main roof support beams actually are along the "main" playing surface, about 1 foot, in bounds, all down both sides of side-court..... actually once saw a player running for a fast break run smack into one......also saw a ref get "clipped" by one of the supports....... this gym is a great place for "lawyers" to hang out...and wait for someone to get hurt.......
