The "kid" that you are talking about hvwarrior58 was no more at fault than the rent-a-cop that assaulted him. The whole thing happened right in my lap so I think I had the best perspective of the whole thing. Granted the "kid" should have just left but he did nothing more than the rest of the crowd that got thrown out did. He was just the one that "Bob" wanted to continue with. The security guard in my opinion, and everyone else that had front row seats to this appalling display of force, provoked the kid with comments and actions of his own. I mean the kid had blood running out of his mouth where the cops slammed him down against the bleachers. As the kid screamed out in pain and tried to get back to his feet, they drowned him and myself in pepper-spray. The kid needed to leave but the actions that the two officers took border on criminal in my opinion. Me and a friend and my father sat and watched as these two "officers" hurt this boy. From all that I saw, the boy was doing more defending himself than anything. He laid there on his stomach crying for them to stop as he was covering his eyes and they just kept on spraying him with pepper spray.

My queston to you HVWarrior58, why is it you Carter County people cannot win with out trash talking? I am having reference to some comments on here. When we beat you earlier in the season we did not get on here with a bunch of that stuff.

 

We lost the ball game in the first quarter. Too many turnovers and in my opinion too many bad shots. I could say more but it would serve no useful purpose.

 

After posting I say the post by Mangus and just wanted to tell him that the cop is denying that he sprayed the pepper spray. I saw the can in his hand. When we left the cops were in front of the school getting their stories together.

Tough go tonight for the Birds. Looks like CHHS , Satch, and Coaches Corner was right, this warrior bunch is always a threat. They have good players and one heck of a coach. we'll probably see them again. Thank goodness not in Carter Co.

I had to work so I had to tune in on the radio and my boy stayed home ( at least I think so). I don't know all the circumstances to the incident that happened tonight but it sounded terrible. No place for this in sports (High School, College, Pro or wherever).

Watauga Conference will be a battle to the end. We may have change the name to the Black and Blue Conference and fence in the courts.

I'm just glad "Bob" left his bullet in his pocket.

Didn't the referee ask the constable to escort the 2 Volunteer fans out for language after the technical call on Volunteer? Yes, he did. He was only do his job. The constable asked them to leave at referee's request, but they were very reluctant to leave. I hated to see this kind of thing happen to end a great ballgame between the two teams.

I believe your fans referred to our house as "Sad Hill". That warranted the comment I made on my earlier post. If you trash talk the home of the team you play, you better be ready to eat crow!

Littleabe, what we said was not trash talk. Apparently you did not read all of the posts. It is just a play on words. As I said is an earlier post, it was not meant to be disrespectful. You guys need to stop wearing your feelings on you sleeve.

 

You are right about the referee asking for some boys to be removed. But, they had not even committed a crime and they were treated like criminals. The boys should have left as requested. From what I saw the one that was put down was leaving and then the commotion started. I will defer to Mangus on what happened because I did not see it all. I do know that if the cop denies spraying pepper spray, he is lying!!!!!!! If he will lie about a little incident like this, what would he do in a really important situation?
