I hope not, Maryville, would use him, no doubt but the Maryville Team is about team. Him coming to Maryville would make the place a Circus. I think. I would not blame any father for wanting his son to play for Coach Quarles. Hey, maybe Fulmer will take Quarles as his next offensive coordinator after he takes the third Clausen in a row!! There is no question GQ could do a better job of play calling than Sanders could!

Casey Clausen has won as many national championships as Peyton "Shoot the Moon" Manning has...zero.

Casey Clausen has won at Florida twice....Manning zero.

And on and on....

Tennessee fans are going to be saying "Where is Casey Clausen?" next year when James "I don't care what the team needs; I am a QB" Banks or James Robert Cooter or whoever is taking the helm (doesn't look like Brian Brohm anymore).

Maryville will be the program they are with or without the younger Clausen. In fact, they are probably better without him. Maryville has become what it is without a "superstar".

As for the comparison between George Quarles and Randy Sanders, UT fans may have a complaint about Sanders. Nevertheless, one thing is for sure - Randy Sanders is where he is (for now), and George Quarles is where he is. No comparison.

You do realize that Jimmy Clausen is a phenom right? He is the #1 rated freshman in the country to my knowledge. He is supposedly better than Casey ever was already. I read an article about him that called him the "LeBron James" of high school football.

Oh, now THERE's a ringing endorsement, he's the football equivalent of LeBron James. His Mom gave him the Hummer yet?

Hart was a special player  3A Dyersburg looks to return a few key pieces. Strahan will be a force  4A Bradley will be as usual, making it tough on whoever they face.
    • I have no clue if Derek tried to talk some since into his dad or not about staying here. All he is going to accomplish is going from the oven to the frying pan. If I were the coach all Ale would freze over before I set back and watched one of my good players leave without a fight.
    • If this is true, South Gibson is taking a big chance. Passing on an experienced coach for a guy who has never coached at the high school level is a high risk move, especially in that district and region.
    • Dorian Eskridge was HVA's best back, 2011
    • Jo Byrns was a very solid team last year. Imo, I thought they presented the biggest challenge for us on our path to winning it all last year. I expect them to be in the conversation and one of the final few teams playing in Murfreesboro
