i agree with you . Mcminn is the real deal!Everything is starting to click for that team.Their Defence is going to be ready,so look out DB.Their offense is definatly ready.Their o-line is awesome!!!! They have been dominating people , making the biggest holes to run through. If you dont believe that then check out what they did to science hill!!! I think they are ready.Its going to be a battle ,but i think mcminn will come out on top!!!!

Skunk couldn't have said it any better....yall ain't playin Science Hill again....seems to me you have no idea what's in store for you...the more posts I read about McMinn county the more I think you guys ARE science hill. Ya see...Science Hill made the mistake of talking and talking at the beginning of the season about playing D-B. Blah Blah Blah here Blah Blah there. Let the pads do tha talking. Almost every post I see on here is about how "BAAAAAAAADDDDDD" McMinn's offense or defense is. When are you gonna start focusing on ur upcoming opponent instead of talking about urself. If I were you......i'd get that ball rollin. Other than that this should be an excellent game between Tribes.

. This team talks with their pads they have shown that game-in game-out and year-in year-out. Coach Clark will make sure they are ready and fired up for the game. Coach Vance will have a big hand in getting them fired up too, he's the best motivator I've seen in a long time. Also nothing we say on here has any bearing on Friday, because on Friday night J. Fred will be electric, the team will be fired up, and you better bet you'll see Tyler (T-Naughty) Nottingham walking through the troops getting everyone pumped and he'll make the plays to. Tyler has got to be one of the most excititing players ever, I would hate to be an opposing qb and see him step up to the line. Yeah boys this week won't go fast enough ROLL THE REAL TRIBE ROLL

All I've got to say is DB will walk all over McMinn this Friday. DB has really shown what they are made of this season and I would not be suprised if they went very deep into the playoffs. As a Science Hill player I would like to say that as much as I don't like DB I dislike McMinn Co. even more. I never thought I would say this but I'm pulling for DB. You all have an outstanding group of players this year. To McMinn Co. I say that you had better bring your A game. DB has proven to be a power house in Region 1 and will not be afraid to show it. Good luck to DB and I hope to see you all go very deep in the playoffs.

Why are people saying DB cant take anyone for granted...hello they(McMinn) finished 2nd in a good region....if DB brings their A game and McMinn doesnt Db but that goes both ways this is goin to be a good one not as good as OR and JC

The Average Score for the last 10 Playoff Games @ DB is 32-11

 

McMinn Co. lost 2 games this season, both on the road--Road Record (3-2)

One of those losses was to the Cumberland Co. Jets (5-5) I don't know anything about Cumberland Co other than the fact that after week 1, they did not have a good season and they did not make the Playoffs. The other loss was to Oak Ridge in the Atomic City 35-6, we all know how good OR is.

McMinn CO has won 5 games in a row since the OR game, counting last weeks spanking the HillToppers of JC in Round 1.

In McMinn Co. 9 Wins this season, The Cherokees have won by a margin of 30-10 In McMinn Co. 2 Losses this season, they lost by a margin of 11 - 27.5

In McMinn Co. 5 Road Games the average score was 26-25

Well, the trash talking has officially begun. 1st off nobody ever said that DB is not a great football team. heck they will be heavy favorites coming into this one. But, they have the chance to prove themselves this Friday against one of the hottest teams in the state right now. Coach Hutchins will definetly have the cherokees ready to play Friday night. He knows the DB system coming from Jeff. Co., and is aware of everything that goes on there. I believe everyone is going to see the difference between Region 1 & Region 2 5A's. I'm pickin OR over Jeff. and we will just have to see how the battle of the tribes turns out. I don't even know why Karns is still bein brought up. MCHS fans have not mentioned them. If you think Karns is even in the same league as the Cherokees you r crazy. You say that it's a new season and that Karns has been forgotten, but yet they are still being brought up by your own fans. Both DB & MCHS are great teams and thats all you can say. The better one will win Friday. Enough Said!

This should be a real exciting game. I don't know who to pick. I mean DB has been very impressive at home and McMinn has been playing some of their best ball lately. Should come down to the wire. All I can say is it's playoff time in Tennessee and let the pads do the talking on Friday night.
