Goodpasture is a very good football team. Having seen both teams firsthand, Goodpasture may win this by 14 points. Tyner needs to find a solution to stop #88 and the passing game of Goodpasture. Sequatchie did not play well in that game but several weeks earlier gave Tyner a scare. Could be interesting because if any teams wants some of the Mustangs it would be Goodpasture.

I was surprised by Goodpasture's lack of discipline, 12 penalties with 2 or 3 others declined, lots of taunting, a couple of late hits, dropped passes, snap over the quarterback's head. Sequatchie had 2 penalties so the refs weren't flag happy (maybe Hargis can do an article on the biased refs at the game). Goodpasture has a big edge on special teams, good coverage, good extra point kicker and punter. If Tyner doesn't beat themselves with turnovers, giving Goodpasture the ball deep in their own territory I will say Tyner 28 Goodpasture 24.

I was impressed with GP on film. They have several people other then #88 that can make plays, and I love the way that they get to the ball on defense. The game will come down to who wants it more. GP wants a rematch with DL, and Tyner's seniors haven't forgotten about GP beating them and taking their ring in 01'. It should be a great game!

Jett, have you ever seen Lipscomb play or do you just hold a grudge against them because you know that they can beat your team? Lipscomb gets better after every game, if that is possible. Goodpasture is by far Lipscomb's biggest rival, and if they play like they can, then it will be no match. And if they play Tyner, Lipscomb will play a very intense game. No matter who they play, Lipscomb's secondary will come up big with some key interceptions as usual. I'm predicting that the secondary runs back at least 2 interceptions.
