Was the whistle stolen from Portland or is that just a rumor?

 

You might want to ask Fan about that horn. He thinks he knows what happened to the Portland train whistle earlier this season. (But, Fan thinks he knows everything!) As far as dueling horns, miss KITTY, I would be honored at the opportunity to make that happen. We will soon find out. Less than 24 hrs. away from kickoff!!!

Isnt Portland the ones missing a horn?? Looks like you have found it Pride...not in Trousdale...but Macon Co.

Ah, Fan, we replaced that one several weeks ago. Like I said then, we got plenty of them in stock. Yep, that whistle still blows in P-town!

Well....this is my first post, and i'm glad that it is for the ptown-SC game!!!! i think that SC is BY FAR the better team!!!! they are a much STRONGER team with MUCH better players!!!! i KNOW you won't let me down SC!!!! GO OWLS!!!!!

Boy, are you in for a surprise! :o . I think even the SC fans will say that is a ridiculous score to predict. "IF" SC does win, the score will be a lot closer than that. SC has a good offense, no doubt, but P-towns defense won't give up 56 points, NO WAY!!! And you can bet we will score more than 14! In a word of the great QueenBee herself, "SHEEEEEEEEEESH"! You would have been better off not posting at all! :huh:

You know...the Queen is famous for LOTS of things. I expect both teams to play well tonite. Turnovers will be the key. I hope to see a big crowd tonite...that is if we all dont freeze to death.

I guess that I am going to make the venture out to Carthage tonight. Gallatin is not in the play-offs, and I got to get some football action. My girlfriend graduated from portland a couple of years ago, so we are gonna go down to smith co. and root for good ol' P-town. I don't think that this game is going to be as one sided as some of you owl fans might think. Should be a good game if you ask me!

      I think that pretty much sums it up, really. To be perfectly honest, I'm far less sour about Eagleville getting to host themselves in the state tournament every year than I am the fact that we find ourselves in a position that we have to play STATE TOURNAMENT games at a blamed Single A facility.

      It's time to put away with the award. 18 players selected, and 17 of those players are from Middle and East Tennessee. I guess they don't play baseball in West Tennessee. I understand there will be players that were "snubbed." We can make a legit argument that it occurs in Mr. Football and as well as Mr./Mrs. Basketball. But baseball is not a place where we can sit here and say "these are the 3 best players in this class and that class."  And we got to get rid of these polls bullcrap that's being released. It's all nonsense.

      Thanks. I'm just trying to understand how this process works.   It seems like a bit of a sweetheart deal to me but the cookie has to crumble somewhere I guess.

      He won’t got anywhere he has it made in h20 he prob makes almost what a head coach in t c makes plus there’s not as much pressure there everyone is a use to the losing there. I say he will be there for many years just waiting for Webster to leave…
