What do you think about the way money is distributed once the playoffs start? Many of the teams playing in November and December will actually lose money by being in the playoffs.

That is after expenses for personell on site, referees, etc...

Frankly, I hope my kids' school IS required to pay 50% of the gate to the TSSAA for 4 more weeks! That means we'll be in Murfreesboro!

 

Anyone who thinks the price of victory is too high, doesn't pay it.

 

Whoever finds the rarified air of competition at this level to be insufficient for breathing needs to develop bigger lungs.

NCAA and TSSAA seem to be twins. Money grubbers.

Remember the TSSAA has to rent Vanderbilt for 3 games for the Clinic Bowls and MTSU for 5 Games for the BCBS Bowls. These things don't come cheap.

I don`t mind the money as much as I do the fact they won`t let parents bring video recorders in the championships. That`s going a bit over the edge.

they could get that donated if they worked it right.

Those cities actually have to bid to get the game they are not doing the TSSAA a favor by ALLOWING them to play there.

I hate the see the TSSAA make money when some playoff schools actually lose money on a playoff road trip. That is not fair.

I hate that it cost $7 to get in the game. It keeps alot of students from going. To me, that what it is all about, getting the students to the games.

While 50% does seem a bit excessive, you have to think about all the clinics and classes that TSSAA has each year. Plus, they pay the execs BIG MONEY! Is this right? Not in my opinion, but I'm just an average joe. Surely they wouldn't try to stick it to us, would they?
