Clinic Bowl Attendance?

How many people do you think will come out for the DIIAAA game? What has been the most recorded attendance in recent years? I was just wondering if this game was projected to stack up with those games maybe.

Hopefully there will be more people there than last year. Maybe the nice weather will help boost attendance.

It will probably be more people than usual saturdays during football season.

I say there will be around 7,500 for the AAA game and with the AA and A games being substantially lower. Hopefully I'll be wrong and a lot more people will come out. Of course, you can always just stay home and listen to the Clinic Bowl Network...

Last year's attendance was low for the AAA game because they played it on Friday night, when all the other quarterfinal games were going on... I guess they figured it wouldn't matter if they went head-to-head with the Division I guys... but what they lost were the sidewalk fans who just wanted to see good football... those fans went to their favorite D-I games, while BA and MBA had a sparse crowd... I think it's better they moved all the games back to Saturday...

Great football weather...no live TV...huge rivalry game with a lot of publicity and controversy.

 

I'd say this will be the best attended Clinic Bowl in the past several years.

They moved it last year so as to not have to contend with the VU-UT game that was being played at the Colesium. I stick with 7,500.

My estimate at last week's Lincoln County-Smyrna game was 7,500.
