Toughest Gym in Chattanooga area to play

For you guys who play and have played (or coached) in Chattanooga area gyms -- Where is the toughest place to get a W? (other than your own gym)

Bradley Central - tough to play 8 vs. 5

i agree w/ through97, Bradley is tough to play cause it is 8 vs 5.

 

Others:

Rhea cause of one end being so open. Seen alot of good shooters air ball or brick until they adjust to the end being so open.

 

East Ridges old gym, just because it was so small, definely a crackerbox

 

Kirkman made me nervous, we never got to use the locker room cause it always smelled like dope and had broken pipes and stuff in it. Nobody ever cheered at the games, just kind of stare at you the whole time till you go back on the bus.

Well back in the good old days when I played, our rival was Baylor so it was them but I would say Brainerd and Howard are pretty tough places to play now and epecially when those two play against one another.

My AAU team played in that East Ridge gym that you called a Cracker box, I must say it is! Wow, it was small and hot in there.

 

Now why is the Howard and Brainerd gym a tough place to play? I've never been there but I'm thinking about making my way there in Jan...

Brainerd (by far) is tough because of the team you are playing against. Their fans are behind them also.

 

Temple seems to find another notch when at home. The fans and refs seem to get caught up in it too.
