All i remember about Clarkrange last year was their young players playing big roles in there games. But it doesn't matter how good clarkrange's youngsters are, oneida's bench has been there for them in the few games taht they have played. It doesn't matter who they put in or take out, the talent on the court for the indians will never change. So if oneida gets off to a good start, there will be no stopping them. And even if they don't, they are a teams that knows from experience how to fight back. I give this one to the indians

Clarkrange has good epth now. They have atleast 7 starters on the team, and 2 others who can fill there roles, should be an interesting game

Wow, didn't know you could have 7 starters now. Anyways, Oneida could go 10-12 deep and not have much decrease in talent. I don't know much about Clarkrange, besides that they are pretty young, and that's never good. 6-20 record for the Indians last year with no seniors.

I think what the guy was saying was that we could start 7 people on any given night. I am real proud of our boys team this year. They have a lot of heart. Clarkrange was set to start the year with 8 players and 4 walked on right before the season started. I think that Dylon Richards will improve as the year progresses. He is not yet in form. Hannahan and the point guard have both been very impressive so far. keep it up guys- we are really proud of ya.

I am sure that Oneida is wanting to prove something after last season. Oneida has 2 seniors this year right? Why were they so bad last year? inexperience?

this was a great game. what i saw tonight really amazed me. oneida has a great team, but even though clarkrange was loosing(mainly due to turnovers) never really lost their cool. they kept hustling and playing hard. i was shocked by the poor sportsmanship players from both teams showed. i actually saw #23 from oneida give a forearm shot to #3 smith from clarkrange. smith got called for the technical(not sure if he said anything or not), but the official was looking right at them both. alot of cocky smiles and talking smack from both teams. i thought oneida may have come in a bit too cocky, but clarkrange helped them out by turning the ball over. great teams, the rematch should be a better game.

    • Congratulations to Huntingdon and Station Camp. Lots of good softball in Tennessee. Alcoa been media favorite last two seasons.
    • Im more of a Basketball follower than football and like I said we play what we have, there is no going and recruiting or even talking kids into transferring…..and to rebut about Memphis teams in finals I’ve watched Memphis East and Penny Hardaway with the enrollment of a single A team play up and dominate any and all challengers for years! They aren’t the only ones either Mike Miller and son at Germantown put together that super team a couple years ago that ran through the rest of the state! Other teams from Memphis or Chatt or Nash or any large populated area pop up and are relevant out of nowhere every year because they get an influx of talent be it from a new coach or AAU affiliations it happens in football also just like any other sport! I hope these two schools that close join together and get to play the team you support, then you may see it differently! I find it funny some of you think recruiting and resources don’t matter . The county schools get very little funding also but you don’t want to get me started on that part!
    • In a total classless move, Coach Simmons once again shows his true colors. Waits till the day after school is out to let everyone know he is leaving. Fails up to a community college job after a lackluster 2 year span at GH. And do not tell me about the state run that saved a sub .500 season and plenty of whippings by Cookeville and Lebanon.  Looks like the girls job at GH is cursed. Terrible MS program/coaches feeding what is turning out to be a joke of a HS team.
