State tourney TV broadcast

Is it possible that I might of seen a short commercial on TV last night advertising the Check into Cash broadcast of the TSSAA state wrestling tourney? Looks like Mr Creagan and Mr Jones are really trying to get the word out. Hats off to you guys. I look forward to the later VHS viewing. Can we expect any additions or changes from last year? What time and what channel?

I hope what you say is true about the state tourney being televised...at least the finals. I wish the GHSA would get something like that going on public access. heck I'd pay to see it...probably even more than I did to watch the playboy bikini bunnies during halftime at the super bowl.

They should make an attempt at having the program air in Nashville and Memphis as well.

Mybe you can get Nashville/Memphis supports to sponser the program and I am sure you could get it on tv.

i saw that match with dusty rhodes son in it. it must be nice to win the state championship and then stand up and get a hug from dusty rhodes and diamond dallas page.

maybe jant jackson could be part of the parade of champions. That might add a little spice and recognition to tennessee wrestling

From what I've been told the format will be much the same as last years broadcast with one major difference. This year both tournaments will be fully commentated and the videos will be available for purchase on the TSSAA website. There will also be an addtional video available with highlights from both tournaments. The broadcast of the finals will be Saturday Feb 21st from 4-7pm on Fox 61 in the Chattanooga viewing area. That will be cable chnl. 11.

Sly - If I understand you correctly, the D1 finals will be broadcast live. The D1 and D2 will be recorded and commentated with video available for purchase?
