best_of_the_west
Does anyone know websites for AAU or USAW events? Also, when is the next USAW coach's clinic? Don't you have to have a USAW coach's card to coach at USAW events? Thanks.
BamaGrappler
botw, AAU NHSCA USAWrestling It's my understanding that you must have a USA card in order to coach or compete in a USA sanctioned event. Don't hold me to that though.

WrestleSBA
BotW, You do need a USAW card to coach at USAW events but they are not expensive. However, when you are ready to coach I hope you find the right kids because with the passion you show for the sport you will make a good one. Wrestlemom, Any idea how competitive the competition will be at that tournament? I have a few middle and lower school kids who might want to compete but haven't really wrestled since the city championships. Will it be mostly Memphis/Tennessee area teams or are you expecting a big nation wide turn out? Thanks.
best_of_the_west
Wrestlemom, Thanks a lot. I'll try to find you and get a flyer in Chattanooga.
best_of_the_west
Thanks SBA. I figure that if we start from scratch, we can't make them any worse.
WrestleSBA
BotW, LOL. No man you deifnitely have a point there. I am sure you and your brother will do some good things up there. However, I do hate that you will be building the feeder program for one of our rivals at state . Why couldn't you just stay in DI, I mean come on man. Anyway I am just joking with you. hopefully when all get started we will be able to get our two teams together and wrestle, maybe somewhere in the middle of the state like Father Ryans tourney. Anyway see you in a few days. Edited February 16, 2004 by WrestleSBA
best_of_the_west
Starting a D1 middle school team from scratch would probably be more fund raising than wrestling. Yea, we'll keep in touch about next season. See you in Chatty.
