Bolton's NHSCA tournament

 

This is our third year holding this tournament, so we are still trying to help it grow. Every year it gets bigger. I know that Bolton's middle school coach gave out applications to all his wrestlers at their end of season banquet a couple weeks ago and he has a large group. But the tournament is open to anyone, even those from different states.

 

For now it has been mostly local wrestlers, but we are trying to do more advertising. We are also holding it much earlier so hopefully everyone is still in a wrestling frame of mind.

 

My boys went to VA a couple years ago. It is similar to state here. Very large arena with excellent wrestlers. They start with a big parade around the mats with banners locating every state. I remember CBHS brought several wrestlers to VA.

Hey, just wondering. Are there any other wrestlers planning on competing in the open division of Bolton's tournament? I'm thinking of going, but would like to know that there would be some others to compete with.

I have tossed about the idea of competing but will probably not be able to get the training in that would be necessary due to school. However, you never know.

i am thinkin of competing in the open division at 141, james from sd would probally also at 141 or 133.

If any of you guys need a place to stay, I can maybe help find a host family for a few people. It would maybe help save some money for any of you college guys.

Do you have to have a usa card for the bolton tourn.?

No. I think I'm going to get a coach's card, and that will probably be my first tournament to coach.

Who are you thinking about coaching in the tourney? Just interested.

I also have some little ones that I plan to take under my wing. Maybe with the help of kyle james they will be good one day. How do I go about to get a coaches card?
