You wanna know who could shock everyone and have a really good year.....Someone that could suprise everyone and come out on top.....Someone that could come from nowhere and put themselves on top of the poles.....Someone you dont know but soon will......Someone that, if underestimated, could jump all over you and cut you down like dogs.....Someone who didn't expect themselves to do that good? You wanna know? Huh? Do ya? Any one could do this so everyone beware of everyone. Never underestimate anyone, go into a game with confidence in your ability but dont be overconfident. Know that you have to play every second of every game to the fullest of your ability to ensure victory.

I agree with that post........everyone should be aware of all teams. Never underestimate a team just because of the potential, because a team with no potential can win just as easy as any team with much potential.

Maryville has a very good program and will probally be the only team around Knoxville that can compete with Farragut. I hear South-Doyle has some very talented young players; maybe they could make a little noise this year. In 5AAA, Cleveland is the team to beat. Bradley is down; all the players in Bradley County are going to Walker Valley. McMinn Co. is always competetive, but I'm not too sure who they lost and who is coming back. Ooltewah will be the team to beat in 6AAA...Chatt Central will be tough when Wilkes? is pitching. Walker Valley will be the team to beat in their AA district, Meigs Co will be second. McMinn Central will compete, could cause a few upsets. Would be nice to know what Memphis, Rutherford Co and Tri Cities area have this year. Typically those areas have some of the best baseball in the state (Germantown, Oakland, Science Hill)...

    • Sounds like a great opportunity has opened up for the football team.  With the head coach of the diamond rebels making it official and quitting this week, there should be some room for the gridiron guys to benefit. I assume the administration won’t continue paying six figures to two former coach that quit to continue teaching drivers Ed. Thats pretty good money that could be redirected toward the football program. Also, with the more recent policies of pushing kids to only play one sport, abolishing the baseball program altogether would help on Friday nights in the fall. There is some decent speed on that baseball team that should’ve been playing on Fridays IMO. I’m not sure if anybody would really miss that baseball program anyway with it being across town from the school. The liability of letting players actually use the facilities could also be mitigated with closing the program. That liability seems to be a really big issue for 825. Anyway, it seems like a great opportunity is available.
    • Yeah, I read about their spring blue/gray scrimmage after I typed that.   Sounds like a real mess over there.  I just hate that for 'em.  Haw
    • Maybe OR will be, but Farragut, nah, I don’t think anybody realizes how much of a bad situation that program is in currently. I’m sure they will build out of it, but the next 3 to 4 years are going to be a long climb up.
    • Thats one of the problems of having an 8-team region. A team could make it in any other region, but the numbers work against them in this one.
