Look in the mirrow and you will see it. The only thing you can't deal with is getting your butts kicked so it has to be the refs or he recruits or whatever you can think of other than they work very very hard and play the best with getting better in mind to win the gold ball. So sad so sorry.

What will I see in the mirror? You lost me on that one.

The unethical behavior of making such statements as you make or agree with what others say that is totally unfounded and unproven. Here I go again defending that which I said I would not do again so I an finished. Say what you want but get ready for an old fashioned butt kicking, whoever you are. This is not to put any team down but to say that Shelbyville is the best in the state and they will prove that in the next few weeks. Watch and see.

Yes, I called Columbia hot since they had won 8 of their past 10 and beat a 22-6 Franklin (at FHS) team last week. 8-AAA is unusually underrated and will prove that in the region tournament. Shelbyville and Lawrence County will be in the ‘boro when it counts once again.

I hear a train coming........

OK I get it. Lawrence Co. is just trying to do it the hard way by getting 3rd or 4th in their District and hitting the road for their 1st region game. I gotcha.

Relax a little Flem, i was just having a little fun, the reason i put it up there was i knew thats what alot of people would be saying and of course to get you going a little! B) I have no problem with Shelbyville and I am definately not jealous, we beat you once this year and you beat us once. Both of us are state champions in our respective classifications, whats to be jealous of? B)

    • Wanted to see if all of you would lift up Kyle James family in prayer. Kyle was one of the best wrestlers to ever come out of Soddy Daisy and as some of you know he lost his house a few weeks ago and now his family and friends mourns his passing. Not sure if any of you were around in early 2000’s when Kyle was wrestling at Soddy, but he was a 3 time state champ and a Fargo AA along with going to Colorado to train to make the Olympic team. That goal was never reached due to medical issues, but he was an amazing wrestler and his family is as good as gold. If you were around at that time and have any pictures of Kyle, please go onto Alexy Winesburgh FB page and post. Thanks, Doug Benton
    • My opinion the 8 teams will be-  Greenback, Wartburg, Gordonsville, Jo Byrns, Eagleville, Bruceton, Dresden, and South Fulton. Gordonsviile is probably the favorite but I wont say it will be an easy road. With the right draw any of the 8 could win it.
    • I understand Gibson Co. will be announced tomorrow with a familiar name. Not sure about So. Gibson.
    • A huge addition to the staff today! Former Hardin Valley legend and Richmond College running back Aaron Dykes was announced as the running backs coach. Rushed for over 3,000 yards at HVA, with 35 total touchdowns. I loved watching in Hardin Valley. I can’t believe he’s at Bearden now. I know he was trying to get a HVA job, I don’t know what happened there and how he ended up at Bearden, but I'm glad he’s here and believe he will be teaching art class as well! What a good get for the staff!!
    • Thoughts? Gordonsville won it last year with a sophomore pitcher and returned almost everybody. Can anyone beat them?
