Who will be the teams to beat next year

Pickett Co. returns Mr. basketball candidate Joseph Bailey, another Mr. Basketball candidate in Josh Wright and starters Lance Mason and Nathan Groce. They have a good bench and a great freshman team being added. And, they beat Unaka 80-57 this season. They were upset in the region and I think they would have gone a long way in the state, or would have won it, especially if they had played Unaka again. I guess there were a lot of very good teams also upset in region play looking at this year's tournament and thinking "if only!"!!!

WHY? Because no one will expect them to be worth anything... Kinda like last year when they had NO seniors and made it all the way to the State Champ game... People said there's no way they will be real good and look what they did! Go Bears!

In single A Ezell will be very good. They only lost 1 senior and they will no doubt be better. It should be Ezell and CPA competing for the number 1 spot in 9A

siegel's talent is obvious, but you dont make it to state just on talent, you have to have good chemistry,solid coaching, limit mistakes, especially the silly ones that siegel seems to be prone to. siegel has a good chance of making it far, but there are 2 or 3 others teams in district 7-aaa that are capable of going just as far if not farther

Coffee County should be very good next year with Micah Williams returning along with some talented folks that have played together for 3 years now.
